Hello!
I’m Keri Amlotte, Founder & Principal of River & Birch Consulting.
I work with nonprofits and businesses to help them launch transformative initiatives, amplify their brand and reputation, and inspire meaningful engagement.
Serving as an extension to your team, I provide strategic insight and dependable partnership which provides you more capacity to focus on what matters most. Whether you need a Fractional Communications Director for embedded yet flexible leadership, or a trusted expert to provide strategy and execution support, I can help you.
Do any of these challenges sound familiar to you? If so, let’s talk.
People don’t really understand what my organization does and why it’s important.
Our organization has changed and our branding and communications needs to be updated to reflect who we are today.
I need to launch a major new initiative but don’t have the internal capacity to get it done right without over-stretching my team.
Due to staffing gaps, I need someone to fill in and manage some important work that’s in process.
We do great work, but our team needs help communicating that in a clear way so that people understand the value and get excited about it.
My team is small but we have a lot of work and need help from someone we can trust to get stuff done.
I need help promoting our new campaign/program/service or increasing revenue in a low-performing service area.

About Our Name
River & Birch Consulting was inspired by the Northern Michigan forests and waterways that both inspire and ground me.
It also represents the approach I take to my work which includes a focus on forward progress, flexibility, clarity, and flow while staying rooted and true to your vision and environment.
Lastly, in Anishinaabe culture, the birch tree is known as the tree of life. It is upon the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabek, today represented by the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, that I live and work each day.
